I’ve always had a passion for being physically active and present in my body. I grew up playing soccer, water polo, and swimming competitively, as well as surfing and snowboarding whenever I got the chance. There’s just something about physical exertion that takes one out of their head and away from their inner monologue. When I got to college, I decided to turn my passion for physicality into a career and study sports medicine. I was hooked instantly and continue to be fascinated by the intricacies and nuances of the body. I got into massage therapy because I wasn’t getting the hands-on learning I wanted in the early stages of my academic career. I’ve now been practicing for 4 years, and it’s been an amazing experience thus far. I love applying what I’ve learned to my treatments, helping my clients get out of pain (and stay out) so that they can continue doing the things they love.
