More About Sports Medicine

We know athletes have higher demands placed on their bodies, and healing times become especially important when trying to salvage a season. We also realize each sport brings about unique biomechanics that need to be restored or improved upon before returning to competition at the highest level. Thus, our exercises are designed to challenge the body’s systems while slowly bringing back in movements that mimic the sport.

When requested by the athlete, we go above and beyond to communicate with coaches, athletic trainers, orthopedic physicians, parents, and spouses. This helps ensure that the athlete’s health comes first by establishing parameters and standards of care all parties can abide by. Our goal is to be the support network needed for full recovery, allowing the athlete to focus on healing.

We have worked with enough professionals to know that when it comes to optimizing performance after injury, the work must be put in by all members of the team.
